Our SHEA Cross-Country Pipelines (CCP) scheme is designed for individuals who require access to operational sites within the gas industry, both permanent and temporary, at all levels including operatives, supervisors and management.
Who is it for:
CCP is for all persons who require access to operational pipeline sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management.
The CCP scheme comprises nine modules. There are six core modules that are common to all utility industries and focus on health, safety, environmental law and workplace practice.
These are supplemented by three specific modules that deal with aspects more relevant to cross-country pipeline construction.
CCP is designed to provide evidence that an individual has demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge, understanding and behavioural awareness. It is a passport scheme and does not confirm any level of technical competence or skilled expertise.
The scheme is affiliated with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) allowing utility workers access to CSCS controlled sites for purposes of utilities work without the need to hold a separate card.
